This Privacy Policy explains how Sweep ("Sweep", "we", "us") handles your information. Sweep is a phone-storage cleaner. Our core promise: your photos and contacts are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

1. Information processed on your device

• Photos & videos. With your permission, Sweep scans your photo library on-device to find duplicates, similar shots, screenshots, and large videos. Image analysis (Apple Vision feature prints) runs locally. We never receive, transmit, or store your media.
• Contacts. If you use the Contacts tool, Sweep reads your contacts on-device to detect duplicates so you can merge them. Contacts are not uploaded.
• Secret Vault. Photos you add to the Vault are stored only in Sweep's private storage on your device and are not backed up to us.

2. Information processed for subscriptions

To offer subscriptions and a free trial, we use RevenueCat and Apple:

• Apple processes your purchase and manages billing through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details.
• RevenueCat manages subscription status on our behalf. It processes an anonymous app-user ID, purchase/receipt data, and basic device/country information to validate entitlements and provide aggregate analytics. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

3. What we do NOT do

• No account or sign-up is required.
• No advertising or ad tracking.
• No selling or sharing of personal data.
• No third-party analytics SDKs that read your content.

4. Permissions

Sweep requests Photos and Contacts access only to provide its features, and only after explaining why. You can change these anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security.

5. Data retention

Because cleaning happens on-device, we hold no copy of your media or contacts. Subscription records held by RevenueCat/Apple are retained per their policies.

6. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/EEA, UK, CCPA/California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to object to certain processing. Since we don't hold your content, most requests concern subscription data — contact us and we'll help, including forwarding to RevenueCat where applicable.

7. Children

Sweep is rated 4+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app.
